After someone is sentenced to death, rather than wasting the Peoples tax...

...dollars on prolonging life, should? execution be handed out immediately, and would it make sense to do so publicly? And would asking for volunteers to carry out the sentence be a good idea rather than wasting tax payers money??? Perhaps simply allow for a mob to lynch them? Reuse the rope?
