When relgious parents teach their kids, its god or hell, don't they think that

thats a little wrong? I mean they can't really diffrentiate between good or bad or right and wrong, how can they form opinions if your trying to scare them into religion?

,No, probably b/c their parents did it to them, and they know no better. They have no real world experiences, no measuring stick for good or bad, just god this or god that, blah blah blah, really quite sad. I work with a girl like that, and I wonder if she'll ever really live and enjoy life without having the eternal hellfire gamboling on the horizon.

your sellin' the kids a little short here.even pre-year old children can easily demonstrate whether or not they know what they're doing.just look at their body language or when they are looking at their parents for approval or disapproval.religion is scary.its condemned more people to hell because they wanted to have the freedom of THEIR OWN opinion than to believe in the authourity of scripture.God or hell?it's pretty clear-cut.to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.this is from a Christian's point of view.2cor5:8-10.to be present w/the Lord is heaven;without saying,but,implying anything else is hell,not time-out or anywhere else.it's just not that hard gang.the reason people have a tough time with it is it's too,simple for 'em.they can't foul it up by philosophizing themselves out of heaven if they take scripture as it is presented.Luke18:15-17...

you dont get it. if someone truly believes in the Bible, they feel they are helping their children by tell them what bad things could happen...just like they warn them about earthly dangers.

I actually taught my daughter that she should study all the paths and choose the one that was right for her.
And I think she turned out just fine.
