What is the best method for teaching my 12 month baby to eat with utensils?

She has been eating great with her hands exclusively (meaning that I do not feed her with a spoon any more, she wont let me) for about two weeks now. I gave her a spoon and a spork so far and she can get it from the bowel to her mouth with no problems but she doesn't know how to get food on the utensil. She sit the utensils on top of the food and then she puts it back in her mouth and doesn't understand why there is no food on it. Any ideas or just keep giving her the utensils and she will end up figuring it out herself.

One other questin- What is the best baby utensils for a baby to learn to feed themselves?
