Froggy F has a spectacular aura about
My step-daughter hurts my 3 year old (which is her half sister)and...

...teaches her bad things...? My eleven year old step daughter tells my daughter (which is her half sister) that their Dad is really not her Dad but just my step daughters. It upsets my 3yr old. Also, She never wants her to enter her room and has smashed my 3yr olds finger in her door several times now. The other day she pinched her and now she has bruises on her arm. She has told her that she hates her and when she hurts her she puts her hand over her mouth so she can't scream.

My 3 yr old is aggervating, like most 3 yr olds are. I'll admit that but my daughter loves her sister to death. When she is here she just wants to be around her because she misses her. When my step daughter comes back from her moms my little girl runs to her & says I missed you, I am glad you are here but she just ignores her. When I confront my husband about all of this he just says it's normal and does punish her but punishes our 3 yr old by spanking her when she's in trouble. My 3yr old is now treating my 2yr old the same way.
Is this normal? I don't treat them any different infact I do more for my step daughter than my other two...
Well my husband does punish her by taking her tv away...
I try an shelter them as much as possible from her but I do have to shower and do house work every now and then. My 3yr old is so hard headed and keeps running back to her.

I have sat her down and jumped her ass about this several times but she just keeps doing it. Her excuse for hurting her is I WAS JUST PLAYING...

She cannot be allowed to injure your other children. She seems angry and may somehow blame you and/or your daughters for her parents' split and the (now obvious fact) that they will not get back together. Even if you came into the picture well after the divorce was final she may still blame you...it doesn't make sense but it isn't uncommon in these situations. You and your husband need to sit down with her and make sure that she understands her lies to your daughter will not be tolerated and neither will her aggressive behavior. You may also want to consider taking her to a counselor to discuss her feelings and help her find a more productive way to deal with them. You and your husband have a responsibility to her but you also have a responsibility to protect your other children as well....even if that means from her.
