| If hell is for unbelievers, & unbelief is shaped by what is taught, does that make... ...them predestined to burn? Christians teach that the unbelievers will have their part in the lake of fire that burns with brimstone. It teaches this fact in the book of revelation. But if unbelievers don't believe at least in part because of what they are taught, does that mean that they are basically predestined to burn in hell? For the Bible mentions also that if you train a child in the way they should go, when they are old, they will not depart from it. But what about those who are taught in the way they SHOULD NOT go, doesn't that mean, that just like we always reap what we sow, they will not depart from their teachings of err, when they are old? Are they doomed simply because of the "You always reap what you sow" clause? I mean, if you truly do reap what you sow, & some are sowing unbelief, does this mean that they will reap more unbelief & therefore these people will burn in hell because of what they were taught? And if these people are deceived, how righteous is it to burn people for being tricked? |
