| Teaching in Michigan? I live in Michigan and I know it's almost impossible to find a teaching job, but I really want to teach (I haven't even started college yet). I'm wondering if anyone knows if the job expectancy is supposed to go up, for instance, are a lot of teachers going to retire within the next 5 years, population growth, etc? Also, would I be able to take my degree and teach out of state? I know Michigan is in pretty bad shape right now, but is the economy why there are no teaching jobs or is it mostly unrelated?      |
