| 4 month old sucks really hard while nursing. Is it too late to teach a good latch?
My 4 month old daughter has been smacking and clicking while nursing since she was born. The lactation consultant gave us all the "Jack Newman" tricks. No matter what I do, she still smacks, clicks and sucks hard while nursing. I do have "lipstick" shaped nipples sometimes but not everytime. I know that she is capable of doing it right because she does it. I just haven't been able to find out the trick that makes her continue to nurse without noise. Please help.
