| My rat is timid, how can i teach him to trust me?
I have 3 rats and 2 of them are really friendly and when I open the cage they run to me for attention but one is still a bit scared of me and keeps nibbling me to let me no he has teeth and can bite if I upset him. I have had them for about 5 days now. I am being very gentle with him and allowing him to sniff me to get used to my smell and I'm not going to grab him and scare him, but give him time to trust me so that he will be less scared of me and want to come up to me for attention without being scared. Does anyone have any tips on trying to let him no I'm not going to hurt him? I feel like I'm giving the other 2 a lot of attention and not giving him as much which is probably making it worse as I need to focus on him. Thanks for any advice!
