If you could have someone teach you how to hit who would be your first choose?

Mine would be Tony Gwynn.

Take Gwynn...
I will take Todd Helton who has the 2nd highest career average by a MLB with any amount of years at .331
OR
If he could get his head out of the clouds long enough-Manny Ramirez who may be the best pure hitter this game has seen in the last 20-25 years.
Those guys are the ones to learn from...
Gwynn is so fat now he probally can't get the bat off his shoulder-frankly, he is embarrassing to look at.

I'd probably take Tony Gwynn as well. He's probably the best pure hitter to come along in a while, and he's still alive. If I could choose among all players past and present, dead or alive, though, I'd choose one of the following: Ty Cobb (.366 career average), Rogers Hornsby (.358), or Ted Williams (.344 with a career .482 on-base percentage).

P.S.: Eddie T: I don't think it's Placido Polanco's teeth, but rather his bulbous cheeks that need to be noted. Seriously, he looks like he's storing nuts for the winter in those things.

Tony Gwynn is the San Diego State baseball coach.

I think I would have Hank Aaron teach me.
