| Becoming a teacher is more than just getting a degree, and getting a position at a specific school. There is more to teaching, than just standing up in front of a class (lecturing is called "teacher centered" class). Preparing the classroom, and the lessons takes time and planning. "Student-centered" classes mean that the teacher is a leader, or guide, and NOT so much time is spent lecturing (except to introduce assignments and clarify concepts). |

| I think multisensory is the best, because the more different ways you present something, the more chance there is of everyone being able to receive the learning in their preferred way. It has also been shown to be the most successful method for special needs students. An example of this is if you were teaching, on, under, beside etc. Most teachers would explain it, maybe with a diagram, or with objects as a demonstration. If you actually get the students to stand up on, under and beside a table or chair this engages them more, and you get the listening, visual and physical learning at once. |
