Claire has a spectacular aura about
What beatitudes is Jesus teaching?

1. Jesus called a child over and said, "Unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." --Matthew 18:2-4

2. Because Jesus healed a paralytic on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. --John 5:1-18

3. Before his arrest and crucifixion, Jesus prayed, "My Father, if it be possible let this cup pass from me, yet not as I will but as you will." --Mark 14:36

4. Jesus wept over Jerusalem because it killed the prophets. He said, "I yearned to gather your children as a hen gathers her young under her wings, but you were unwilling." Then he predicted the destruction of the city. --Luke 13:34

5. Jesus once told a scribe who wanted to follow him, "Foxes have dens, birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to rest his head." --Matthew 8:20

***I need a different beatitude for each one but they can be used more than once.
