Reincarnation. When was Jesus' belief in Reincarnation taken out of his teachings?

Jesus and the early Church spoke of Reincarnation and taught it as part of their belief system. Why do you think this was "obliterated" from all writings, and when did this occur. One quote is when Jesus said that John the Baptist was Elijah. Of course some will answer that was not the meaning, but it is according to a persons belief system and how one interprets what one reads I suppose.Twice Jesus mentioned John the Baptist as being Elijah - Mark 17 and Mark 9. Jesus' remarks regarding the blind man -John 9 and "Before Abraham was born I am"- John 8. Jesus declaring about "born again" - John 3 (which of course has been translated differently by some) The mention of "Soul preexsistence" was mentioned - 2nd council of Constantinople in 553 AD and it was decided then to not accept it as such.. The Dead Sea Scrolls opened up doors regarding this same belief as did the Gnostic Gospels found in 1945. Interesting isn't it!

We ARE reincarnated as heavenly beings. That has never been removed from the Bible.

Where do you get that? Do you have access to some scrolls that nobody else does? If it was "obliterated from all writings", how did you come across it?

Reincarnation is distinctly a far Eastern belief. The concept was known among a few of the ancient Greek philosophers, but I've never seen it in the Bible or any of the early Christian writings. Perhaps you'd like to provide some quotes?
