If Darwinism was never proved why are they teaching it in school?

In school they teach Darwinism like it's a proven fact of life, like a scientific principal- Principals in science are theories that have been proven time and time again and therefore are LAWS, am I right? But Darwinism was never proven, there are just many theories on top of it trying to explain the gaps in it. I respect the fact that science usually provides at least one other threory when there seems to be no way to prove something- like the structure of the atom, from what I know there is the Bohr model, the Rutherford model and probably more.

I know that this question has been ask by probably a million others on this site, but it's just so frustrating and hurtful when someone gwafaws at you be cause you belive God created life on earth. I do not understand why most evolutionist call themselves scientist when their answers are so opinionated. I do not lie and never will lie about how I do not fully comprehend the way God created life because I believe He is very complex.
