Catholics pls...does the Catholic Church teach marriage to a non-Cathloic is

forbidden? This Q is inspired by another asking why are Catholics not allowed to marry Muslims.

If marriage to a non-Catholic is forbidden pls show me proof in the Catechism. And if you find such a passage do you think using common sense alone that the teaching is justifiable. pls state whether you are Catholic or not. thanks much
