Is it possible to teach myself finnish?

Using only the internet and maybe some books. I really want to try. I know a phrase already..

I'd really appreciate it also if there's any finnish people on here (preferably teens) to help me out a bit with this..
Is there anyone that has been successful in teaching themself finnish? i've looked all over the place but can't find a teacher so I resorted to this. I've heard its a very difficult language to learn.
