| Is this a good way of teaching kids that homosextuality is not...
..."approppriate?" (Depending on your views.) I'm 18 now, but when I was 11 this teacher came into our classroom, and was talking about how a lot of the girls just hang out with girls, and guys with guys, and how that is completely normal for 11 year olds. And then near the end of her talk she said that if someone of the same sex is very clingy to you, that you will most likely feel strange, and should tell them not to do that because it is inapropriate touching, but to say it kindly. This did not offend anyone, it just seems that now teachers are trying to expose children to homosextuality and such instead of teaching them that it is something that isn't acceptable in schools like they used to. Do you think what this teacher said was a good way in doing that?
