My 9 month old baby is very advanced due to his older siblings teaching him everything.?

I am very proud of him. My only concern is that he picks up objects using his "bird" finger and thumb. He even points or touches with that finger. Is this a set back? Anyone ever heard of this?
My oldest son is handicapped and the same doctor has evaluted my youngest son and determined he was advanced....so thanks for being a smart-alic Ms. Teacher. I'm not trying to say that he knows what the "bird" finger is, I'm asking why he would do this but since everyone wants to poke fun, I'll just ask the doctor.
