teacher has a spectacular aura about
If I have my teaching license and recently got arrested, but not

charged, can I get licensed in another state? I am a young, newly licensed teacher in 2 states, and am moving to Colorado. I am applying for certification there, but am worried about the background check/fingerprints I have to submit. I had never been in trouble with the law until 2 months ago when I got arrested for writing graffiti on a van with a sharpie when I was drunk. It was really stupid. They called it a felony because of the estimated property damage, which was a bogus number, and I have not been, and may not even be charged. I'm sure it will show up that I was arrested, but not charged. I have a good lawyer. Just wondering if this will prevent me from getting my license if it shows up on the fingerprint check. I will also ask my lawyer. Thanks.
