just a thought... has a spectacular aura about
Can I teach my baby to sleep in on weekends?

I just started work again and we have been getting up at 6:30 am. I assume this means he’s not going to ever sleep late on weekends, but I thought I would ask.

well, try letting the baby sleep as late as possiable during the week. get ready and wake him up at the last second you can. then, let him take a lter afternoon nap on friday then usual and go to bed later.

HA!

But you can try just staying in bed with baby until naptime naturally rolls around; it's what I do when zombied. Go for low-key activities like stories and cuddles and see if naptime won't show up sooner rather than later.

The babys gonna wake up when it wants to... but my friend is lucky. Her 2 month old goes to sleep at night around 9 or 10pm and sleeps until 5:30 am, takes a bottle & goes back to sleep untim 9am!

Babies are creatures of habit. It is a long time before children learn to sleep in. Even putting them to bed later doesn't normally help. It just means they get less sleep and are grumpy.
