proud mommy :) has a spectacular aura about
How do I help teach my 11 month old to walk?

My daughter is 11 months old and is standing all by herself for 5 mins or more at a time. I am trying to figure out a way to get her to start taking steps. I can't bend down and walk with her that way because I am about 5'10 and she is very short for her age and it KILLS my back. Not to mention I am not supposed to be bending for long periods of time because my back went out from bending down to pick her up all the time.
I really want to start teaching her how to walk, but not sure how. Any suggestions? Thanks
Thank you all so much. Yes she does have a push toy, but she doesn't really want anything to do with the walking behind it thing. I also heard walkers weren't that safe? Not sure, but thank you guys sooo much!
