sharkstrike666 has a spectacular aura about
Getting into teaching and doing a PGCE.?

My case:

I have been teaching English in China for over 2 years. I don't have a degree but i have a TEFL diploma. I want to do a PGCE and go into Primary School teaching. To do my PGCE I need a degree.
Whilst signing my husband up for English lessons at a ESOL school in England the woman asked if i would volunteer there and told me i could do a Level 5 Diploma.
My question, if i spent the year doing this Level 5 Diploma, would i be able to use this to get onto a PGCE course and get my QTS quicker than doing a 3 year full-time degree? (I need to work to support my family, so full-time courses really are out of the question) I really miss teaching so i want to get into this a.s.a.p

Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can give me.
You'd think the websites would tell you, they just raise even more questions and more confusion.
I'm trying to get a degree but as quick as possible without doing full-time
