What major is ideal for someone who wants to teach but who is also interested in other job opportunities? ?

I have a Bachelor's in History and I would like to teach history and social science but I also want to leave other options for myself if my plan does not work out. That is why I would like to choose a major other than History for my Master's program.

I was just wondering what kind of jobs I could find with an International Relations degree, for instance? I wouldn't mind a tough major, I just want to make sure I could find a job or my major would be useful and recognized in teaching. Any suggestions or info would be appreciated.
I forgot to add that I am currently overseas so I can only go to an online university. That is why there are majors that are not even available.
