Teaching Kitten to 'Sit Pretty'??

So she gets the concept of sitting but when i hold the treat over her head she will sit up and reach her paws to the treat instead of sitting pretty (on her hind legs and paws down) -Im sure you know what i mean.....

But Im not sure how to teach her not to reach her paws.... she's still young and impatient so if i try to postition her, she doesnt like it.

Is this a slow process?? Am I doing something wrong?

Any advice appreciated! =)

im haveing fun teaching my cat tricks ... but mabe your holding your treet to high .... and maybe it feals like it has to stand up to get the treet...

It'll just take time. just be patient. My dog took forever to learn that "Sit pretty" didn't mean ro lunge at the treat over his head... but finally got it.
