| im having some trouble understanding algebra 2 questions. can someone teach me how to do them? thank you?
1) solve for z in terms of y: y^2z+7z=y
2)what si the result when x^4-7x^3+2 is subtracted from 2x^4 + 7x^3 +x+4
3)If f(x) = x^2-2x-3/4, find f(-1/2)?
i dont understand what the f in function is and if you are supposed to plug in the -1/2 in the x in the beginning. and why in the world is there an f and a x there in the first place im used to y's lol ive had a few ppl try to explain this to me but i still dont get it. so would the answer for three be 0?
