Does the Koran teach conversion by force?

I have heard from questionable sources that the Koran teaches Koran by force. I know that militant Muslims practice this, but I just wanted to know if the Koran teaches this.
I am a Christian who simply wants to know if this is true or not.

Nope it doesn't. Can you please show me those questionable sources so I can see where it says so. This is what is said in the Qur'an ;

Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion. (Qur'an)
There is no compulsion in religion (Qur'an)

Naw it says that your an infidel if you dont convert... and the punishment for being an infidel is death.

You should look up the Assyrian genocide; all Jews, Christians, and idol worshipers faced either conversion or death. It was written into the Koran.
