I was ashamed when the Southern Baptist Convention tried to boycott Disney. I'll freely tell people that I think this was the wrong idea.

However, it never called my faith in God into question.

I was married to a junior pastor of an A/G church for several years. At one point, a new member of the church made a pass at me. My husband went to the senior pastor, since this man had been put in charge of one of the ministries. Instead of talking to all of us, or admonishing the member, the Sr. Pastor told my husband that I was filled with the devil for spreading such lies and that I needed to repent of this. We didn't go to church the following Sunday. The elders of the church came over to "pray with us" about the situation and began trying to exorcise the demon out of me.

That was the end of my days with the A/G church. It inevitably lead to a divorce as well.

and i have a problem taking a worldview from people 2000 years ago, who didnt even understand hygiene.
