| Where does the Bible teach about a "cashless society" and what is the danger in...
...this teaching? Many (good) Pastors teach the current technological concept of a cashless society as a Biblical enevitability. We even have created/adopted this term for it. Yet the Bible does not explicitly teach this idea. What danger is there in propounding ideas such as this from pulpits instead of maintaining Biblical purity? Are not over-spiritualizing -or- over-literalizing the Bible both equally dangerous? Will we, as Christians, only give the world more license to malign us when our conjectures fail to materialize?
