There is a free tutorial at any good library. The best teacher is the person who has set some example of superb writing. It is virtually assured that you cannot read Edward Gibbons' "Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" without being affected by the richness, flow and descriptive imagery of his English. It has always seemed to me that the writing of Thomas Babington MacCauley also holds its place among examples of splendid use of the language. If you engage these writers by reading their writing, you will certainly find their example bleeding into your own written work.
