Do you think high school students should be taught coping mechanisms for

dealing with stress? This is being considered. I think it's a good idea, especially in very high achieving communities.
High achieving means wanting desperately to go to an ivy league school like Harvard, have to be the best in everything, the best soccer player or the Student Council President, no failures, etc.
People are saying that parents are putting the pressure on their kids, social climbing.
I don't think it would be bad but maybe after school?

With the proper instruction they will hardly notice after Yale that are oppressing the downtrodden, the poor, the opposing viewponts,etcetra,etcetra. I feeling a little sardonic. It is a good question.

it would be better to look at the causes of it and solutions for the situation rather than just to put a 'band-aid' on it.

Though, I guess thats the way we do things... don't address the actual problem, just put cover up some symptoms.

Yes, it is a VERY good idea!! Explain "high acheiving" Stress is prevalent in ALL areas in life, so in my opinion, I would expand it to include everyone and tailor it for different areas of stress.
