Should I still go out with him tonight just to teach him a lesson?

Should I still go out with him tonight just to teach him a lesson?

My BF said he didn't feel well this afternoon. We had plans to go out all week. So I call him in the early evening and he's out with his friend buying a car. He sends me a text about 2 hours later saying that he wasn't feeling well again and that he was about to take a nap. I'm like if you don't want to go then say so! Hes like well i don't want you to be mad. My thing is, he went out with his friend earlier to buy a car and he wasn't feeling sick then! Why now? I know he really doesn't want to go but F that! He made plans with me and he should live up to them. Who thinks I should still go? Just to teach him a lesson....
If I don't go then he will be getting what he wants (as usual) and I want him to realize that the world isn't built around him
