Teaching English in Japan - ECC- what can I expect?

I got hired (have not signed contract) and got the company's POV on what they provide (very postive outlook), but I want to have an unbiased review of the accomodations they provide, how far salary went, working conditions. Please let me know, I anything; I heard that these language schools can be bad (NOVA)
