He CAN take you out to drive, however having significant others teach you to drive is not always the best scenario. I suggest taking professional lessons, you will learn more, and may even get a discount when you insure yourself later. Here in Canada if you take Young Drivers of Canada, you get a discount on your insurance because they know you've been taught by a professional. I say practice with your bf, but take lessons by a professional, well worth the $. |

Yes he can so long as he is 21 ( UK ), has a full license and you are on his insurance or he is on yours. You would be advised however to take some lessons with an official driving school as well, as a lot of things may have changed or been introduced which you will need to know to be able to pass your test.
