can my boyfriend teach me to drive?

my boyfriend has had a licence for 5 years , can he take me out driving with just my provisional... with L plates????
so i just need to get on his insurance?

As long as he's over 21 (and your in the UK) and you are insured on the car.

He CAN take you out to drive, however having significant others teach you to drive is not always the best scenario. I suggest taking professional lessons, you will learn more, and may even get a discount when you insure yourself later. Here in Canada if you take Young Drivers of Canada, you get a discount on your insurance because they know you've been taught by a professional.
I say practice with your bf, but take lessons by a professional, well worth the $.

Yes he can so long as he is 21 ( UK ), has a full license and you are on his insurance or he is on yours. You would be advised however to take some lessons with an official driving school as well, as a lot of things may have changed or been introduced which you will need to know to be able to pass your test.
