| wouldn't it make more sense not to teach your children about jesus?
the bible clearly states that those who are righteous but have not heard of jesus will be judged accordingly.
"For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus." (Romans 2:14-16)
so one could theoretically get into heaven without even believing in jesus, let alone accepting him as his or her savior. so why would anyone put the added burden of forcing someone to believe in something some people obviously just can't believe? if you told me my salvation depended on me accepting 1+1=3, i'd probably burn in hell. but if you knew the only way i could get around the 1+1=3 rule was by not telling me about it, would you?
