When should i start to teach my 11 month old off of formula?

Baby is 11 months old and i just wanted to know when to start teaching him off of formula. How and When.. Thanks!!!

Not sure what you mean by "teaching" but you can introduce whole fat cows milk at 9 months, although 12 months is recommended. I would start by switching his smallest bottle with milk instead of formula, and do it early in the day so if he gets a belly ache its not overnight. Then slowly cut out the formula. You can also continue formula if the pediatrician recomends its for weight gain - there is toddler formula that is for 6-18 mths.

At 12 months you can start to wean him off formula. What I did was mix 3/4 formula with 1/4 milk for one week. Then, half formula and half milk for a week. Then, 3/4 milk and 1/4 formula for a week and then all milk. He never even noticed the switch. Absolutely no problems at all. He still loves his milk!
