So... Ehhh... growing up as a baptist I was always taught that ALL sin was

equal in the eyes of god...? So why is it that so many christians give special treatment to certain sins... If I recall correctly the only sin the christian god gave special treatment was blasphemy of the holy spirit... while I do not understand wht theat means why is certain sins eg homosexuality, adultery, fornication given higher importance than so many others?
