Sharon F has a spectacular aura about
TEACHERS: Do you reside in the district where you teach?

For the 1st five years of my teaching career, I lived outside the district where I taught. For the past 7 years, I have taught in the community where I teach. I love it! I love the connection of being part of the community, being a stakeholder, share common bonds with parents in regard to the school district. I have never experienced any negative backlash of residing in the district where I teach. My next door neighbor-kids are former students, as well as many current students in my neighborhood.
How about the rest of you?
