| I'm student teaching at a Catholic school. Would an Easter egg game be offensive? During the latter half of the period, I will instruct each student to walk up to my desk and take one plastic Easter egg. Each egg contains a question, and each student will be asked to answer the question in his/her egg. If a student doesn’t know the answer, the other students in the class will have the opportunity to answer, but each student will be allowed to keep their egg regardless of whether they answer correctly or not. Also, there will be 5 extra eggs. I will call on five volunteers to take them. If they answer the question correctly, they may keep the egg, but if they don’t, they must pass the egg on to someone else who will then have the opportunity to answer. A correct answer will earn that student the extra egg. I'm Protestant, and I'm not sure if this game would 'make light of Easter'. Am I good to go tomorrow? |
