How difficult is it to get a teaching job in Math at a college?

I know it is difficult to get a job at a university period, but I think there may be some things working in my favor. For one, I think most of the overpopulated Ph.D. field is in the liberal arts. Two, I'm more than willing to work at a community college. I just need a full time gig and benefits. I'm going to have a B.S. in General Studies, a M.Ed. in Adult Education, and probably a M.S. in Math (although I could decide to go the Ph.D. route). What do you think?

If you don't have a Ph.D in math, it will be nearly impossible. With a Ph.D., it is difficult, but not impossible. General studies won't help you much at the college level, and the M.Ed. won't help you get an academic job at all. You would absolutely need your degrees in Math to have any success at this.
