Adivce on teaching degree please!?

I have already signed my teaching degree, but this semester, I have to decide whether or not I want to teach Primary (K-8) or Secondary (6-12). I know I want to coach cross country and track, so I am definitely leaning towards secondary (because with primary, they get out of school later, so it would be difficult to coach later in the day)

But I also LOVE little kids. I already have 40 observation hours on teach all three levels of schooling, and I LOVE all the levels, I just cannot decide what I want to teach.

Also, with primary, I do not have to choose a major, so it would be more simple, but with secondary, I have to teach a subject, so I would have to major in something (it would be history, but there are NO jobs for that!).

Help me? Thanks!
I do want to start out teaching Middle school, but I still need to pick a degree, secondary or primary, because with middle school, both degrees are able to teach it.

You should try middle school (6-8) they have a wonderful mix of the great things from elem. and high school kids. they are creative thinkers who like school, but they still have respect for their teachers. THey also have all of this fun preteen/early teen drama...it is so great. You also get out early. With second..you could teach your minor right? I getting get history job either so now i teach french, my minor subject. either way..good luck!
