JessieB has a spectacular aura about
Where do you come from, how old are you, and how well have you been taught English?

I am interested to find out what the standard of teaching is across the world with regards to teaching the English Language. Even some British pupils leave school without basic punctuation and grammar. Txt messaging is also intruding on how people bother to write things down. So, how old are you, where are you from and how much English were you taught at school? Do you feel you understand how to write a letter? I'm particularly interested in people from affluent countries like the UK and the USA and also Europe because I think we're probably the worst, but I'm also interested in the rest of the world.

Do you feel that people just don't bother to write well because we have so many computers to do it for us? Trouble with this is, people don't even bother wiht the splel cheker (sorry, that was a joke! Well, I tried!). I do look forward to reading your comments.
