I need help with my new teaching thing???

I'm a new teacher in college and i'm kinda confused. I hate the tradtional way i want something new. If any one can provide me with useful websites , information or personal experinces that can help to make the class more active and exciting i'll be more than grateful. Please help me.
I'm teaching English language as second language
