I want to teach myself to play the guitar by ear.?

Okay, I already have a guitar that my mom gave me. I have some experience with the piano, I took lessons for about 4 or 5 years, then I just started playing by ear. So, I was wondering how I could teach myself how to play the guitar. Im so fascinated with it, and it look so fun to play, and i thought if I can play piano by ear, I should be able to learn guitar. Im totally confusing myself though! So, where should I start? Any suggestions? Websites? Videos? ETC. How did you lear to play?
