Ella_Charlotte has a spectacular aura about
Can a person teach themselves how to roll their tongue, or is it something they're

born with--a genetic trait? I'm from a family of 6 which consists of my dad, my mum, my older sister, me, my little sister, and my little brother.

My dad can roll his tongue but my mum can't.

My older sister and younger sister can roll their tongues and my little brother and I can't.

Up until a couple years ago, the sentence above this one was very true. Somehow my little sister taught my brother how to roll his tongue and he sat in front of a mirror practicing...and now he can roll his tongue.

Now my question is, did he know how to roll his tongue all along, or was it just a hidden genetic trait?

We've asked him if he knew how to do it before, but he doesn't know and can't be sure.
