Actually, Sponge Bob is kinda nastey, he pulls down his pants and makes rude remarks. After which children copy him and then get themselves in trouble. Its a pity too, since he does have some funny material in his programs.

My seven year old still likes to watch him on tv. I don't care for it, but hey, if she enjoys watching it, so be it. She's also a big fan of "Hannah Montana" too.

I don't know what they see in SpongeBob. To me the character is loud and irritating. I was glad when my grandaughter made the switch to Dora. She is educational.

My grand kids didn't teach us about him but we have sattelite tv at our house in the country and at 7:28 every evening, the station, entirely on it's on, will switch to Nickelodeon and that seems to be the time that Sponge Bob is on. My husband will comment at 7:26, "It's about time for Square Pants". He had no idea until that started happening, a year or so ago, who Square Pants" was...The sattelite company has no clue why this happens.

Well, I can admit that I was a little disappointed when one of my grandson's first words were "Bob-bob" and not "Na-na"!
But he also said "Bob-bob" before he called my daughter "Mama" so that is a little consolation,,,,lol.

My husband loves to watch it with our Granddaughters. They think he likes it. He just gets such a kick out of their giggles. He got Sponge Bob stuff for Christmas.

I can!!! My grandson always just loved Spongebob! Now he likes Pinky and the Brain! But now his baby sister who is 2 loves Spongebob and he always says derisively that Spongebob is for babys! He's the ripe old age of four! But, he'll only eat a burger if you call it a Krabby Patty! Hahaha!

Me? Shoot, I love them both! We know all of the words to both theme songs and my husband just rolls his eyeballs at us when we start singing one of them! Hahaha!

My grandbabies are my babies! they live with me.
