this could be applied to those in govt or big corps who do horrible things to get rich, kill people etc. perfect example is the bush administration and haliburton. making tons of money and our children dying in a fake war. G-d says they will pay though.

Hi Serena, Updated in modern lingo it says to me 1) If you happen to be around when the sh** hits the fan, some of it is libel to splatter on yiu. 2) If you wan to avoid prostitutes, don't go and look at their sheets. It certainly applies to taday's situations and is a good reminder why you should avoid gangs and trouble makers lest you get caught in the crossfire. Cheers, Michael Kelly Cheers |

To me, it means not to be attracted by illegal gains, peer pressure, the wrong crowd, worldly attractions....all can lead to evil doing, and innocent blood shed. Remove yourself completely from such "attractions," nothing good will come of it. My thoughts as a Christian....

Like the commandment "thou shall not steal" and "live by the sword, die by the sword" The verse speaks out against stealing and leading a life of crime. It also speaks out against, even associating with such people because it will tempt you to be like them and take you down a wrong path
