| Is the Christian persecution complex a natural by-product of bible study,
or is it something taught in church? Before clicking that little Report button, you know as well as I that some people are masters at it, and others revel in it. lol...that's hilarious! I swear I'd never seen that before you posted it! I guess it is a natural question to ask though. |

It is something taught outside of church, by everyday experience. Persecution of Christians, both subtle and overt, is commonplace. Anti-Christianity, and especially anti-Catholicism, is the last politically correct form of bigotry. But that is to be expected. Christ told us that if they persecuted Him, they would also persecute those who follow Him.

It's something taught in church. I remember Peter, the Hermit. Before he was was ready for the first Crusade, which was also called the "Children's Crusade" for the huge number of children taking part in it, he (the Hermit) spent years using the church to indoctrinate the people about how less human were "the enemies of our Lord," and that it was perfectly okay to persecute and kill them. The result was to pave throughout Europe the way to the Holy Land with Jewish blood. |
