Is the Christian persecution complex a natural by-product of bible study,

or is it something taught in church? Before clicking that little Report button, you know as well as I that some people are masters at it, and others revel in it.
lol...that's hilarious! I swear I'd never seen that before you posted it! I guess it is a natural question to ask though.

Probably taught in church, I find it amusing that Christians think they are persecuted, look at the Jews.

It is something taught outside of church, by everyday experience. Persecution of Christians, both subtle and overt, is commonplace. Anti-Christianity, and especially anti-Catholicism, is the last politically correct form of bigotry. But that is to be expected. Christ told us that if they persecuted Him, they would also persecute those who follow Him.

I think you mean the tendency of Christians to persecute others, not that Christians themselves feel persecuted.

My answer:

Absolutely neither.

First Let me say that I am Jewish. I have however attended a Lutheran bible study class, as well as services at many Christian churches as I feel that the path to true knowledge requires consideration of all points of view.

During my experiences with Christianity, the people I met were very accepting of me and my point of view. Never was I proselytized to, or made to feel unwelcome. Certainly I was never persecuted.

I would say that "persecution complex" is a familial by-product, not a religious one. Parents who do persecution have kids that do persecution.

It's something taught in church. I remember Peter, the Hermit.
Before he was was ready for the first Crusade, which was also called the "Children's Crusade" for the huge number of children taking part in it, he (the Hermit) spent years using the
church to indoctrinate the people about how less human were "the enemies of our Lord," and that it was perfectly okay to persecute and kill them. The result was to pave throughout Europe the way to the Holy Land with Jewish blood.
