I'm a bit confused...does she not know her name yet? If not then just call her Nick Nack whenever you call her (I use combinations of calling kitty kitty and also 8-Ball...my kitty's name) and when I talk to him I call him by his name. Like I'll say "Are you hungry 8-Ball?" She will learn her name quickly if you use it frequently.

Call her what name you want like if you cat's name was Sue, you could say. Sue and if she responded you could pet her or give her a treat. Hope this was helpful.

Big old Bud knows his name, I say it every time I feed him. Like, "you hungry bud?" or "Here you go, bud" (when I put his food down) or "good stuff, huh bud?". I also say it when he comes into a room--"whats up bud?" or "come here, bud, want some pet?". He is 5 years old now. His name as a kitten was Rikki Tiki Tabby, but at about a year old he stopped answering to that (too sissy for him I think), So I tried a few other names and that Bud is the one he responded to. He's been answering to it ever since! Definitely start with the feeding though. Seems to work the quickest, and I've used that tactic with many cats over the years.

well first off, i'd like to say that cats tend to respond to names that end with "ee" (like hayley or cookie) better. just get out some treats everyday (without having the kitty know) and say the desired names repeatedly. if she looks at you when you say her name, give her a treat. repeat this as necessary. (don't give her too many treats though). also, say her name many times a day so she can understand what she'll be referred as
