how to teach students about trees?

Teaching lessons about trees

please please please tell me you are not a teacher!!!!!!!!!!!
You teach about trees like you do about everything else.
What do you want them to know and why?
You show them (pictures, real ones) read about them to kids or have them read on their own.
Discuss what they think about the ideas you wanted them to have- or why bother teaching the subject?
If you want to or have to, give them a test on what you wanted them to learn or have them write up what they know now they didn't before you started.

take them on a nuture walk to see the trees first hand
when i was in 2nd grade my teacher brought in every type of leaf thet comes from trees
you could take leaves and have them make artwork out of them
