Are there any books that can teach Teen agers how to be Pro-Active?

I am an uncle of two nefews, ages 14 & 16. And These kids are bad, I need to teach them how to be pro-active & respectful etc. Does anyone know of a book that maybe will teach me how to teach them? or maybe just one that they can read on there own. I'd rather teach them, because they are not motivated at all to do anything like read a book on self improvement. thanks
