In North Texas, info on vet teaching animals for class?

My 19 yr old dog has a mammarry tumor. Vet can operate but no guartee due to advance age. I am about ready to have her down. She is almost total blind and deaf and heart mumor. I would like to see if a vet school would be interested in her case. Any one know how to see how that is done? I relize she probable cant be saved but at least her situation would serve a good cause.
